The Company also includes provisions specific to the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) and how those provisions relate to California residents or “consumers” as defined by the CCPA.

The purpose of the Services is to deliver a unique, personalized experience for each user, SBG collects a variety of personally identifiable information about you through your use of functionality contained in the Services, including the user registration process, as well as information gathered from various real estate property management companies, real estate property owners, payment processors, credit reporting agencies, or other related vendor. The personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) collected on or through the Services can include some or all of the following: your name, address, date of birth, gender, social security number, telephone number(s), email addresses, text messaging information and other contact information associated with electronic or digital messaging methods, payment information, and personal credit related information furnished by a credit reporting agency. Additionally, we may collect passwords, logins, individual device identifiers, geo-location statistics, check-ins, page views, and other information about how you interact with the Services. Certain Personal Information must be disclosed before you will be able to access any part of the Services. While not all of the information that we collect from you is personally identifiable, it may be associated with personally identifiable information that you provide us through the Services or otherwise. Non-personally identifiable information collected by SBG is exclusively owned by SBG and may be used as it sees fit in accordance with applicable law.
SBG uses the information it collects from you to deliver the Services to you and continuously enhance your user experience. Generally speaking, we use the collected information to communicate with you, fulfill your requests, customize the content, improve the Services, protect our and your rights, provide support, conduct research and analysis, and comply with laws and regulations, including carrying out our obligations and enforcing our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us by providing notices about your account or changes to the SBG Websites.
We may use your personal information to send you promotional information and updates regarding SBG and its products and services. The information that we collect from you may be used in aggregate form in various ways to optimize and improve the Services. While such information may be based on information about you, it will not identify you personally. We may use such aggregated information for the following purposes: website management, administration and security, promotional activities, and research and analysis.
If your Personal Information changes, or if you no longer desire to receive non-account specific information from SBG, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update and/or remove your previously provided Personal Information. This can be done by emailing a request to us at email@example.com or using the functionality contained in the Services (if any). Additionally, you may request access to your Personal Information as collected by us by sending a request to us as set forth above. Otherwise, SBG will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account and use of the Services remain active and for a period of time after that in order to provide you with the unique, personalized experiences generated by the Services. Please note that while SBG may remove your Personal Information from its systems, certain non-identifiable information may be retained and used by SBG for commercial purposes.
Information about Users that is maintained on SBG’s or SBG’s provider’s systems is protected using industry standard security measures. In order to secure your personal information, access to your data is password-protected, and sensitive data is protected by SSL encryption when it is exchanged between your web browser and the Site. However, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and SBG cannot guarantee that the information submitted to, maintained on or transmitted from its systems will be completely secure. SBG is not responsible for the circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Services by any Users or third parties. As such, SBG recommends that you use caution whenever submitting Personal Information online. You are responsible for keeping your passwords confidential.
You always have the option to opt-out of having your Personal Information disclosed by SBG to third parties that are not agents or service providers of SBG or to opt-out of having your Personal Information used for direct marketing purposes. If you would like to opt-out of such further disclosures or direct marketing, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the opt-out mechanisms (if any) contained in the Services. Please note that, even if you so opt-out, your Personal Information may still be disclosed to third parties to the extent that you affirmatively provide it to third parties using the Services (e.g., by posting it using functionality in the Services). SBG may send you administrative messages, service announcements, terms and conditions of your account, or other similar communications, without offering you the opportunity to opt out.
In the event that SBG goes through a business transition, such as a merger, another company acquires SBG or its affiliates, or SBG sells a portion of its assets, your Personal Information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. SBG will endeavor to inform you of any exchange and its effects via notice on our Services. If as a result of a business transition, your Personal Information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, you will be given the choice to opt out.

This policy and use of information hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from the other provisions and shall not affect the validity of the other provisions.
